Simultaneous interpretation for the 20th meeting of the OSCE

  Simultaneous interpretation for the OSCE Ministerial Session held in Kiev on December 5-6, 2013.  
All equipment for simultaneous interpretation and a conference system were provided by LEATER PLUS LTD.
The simultaneous interpretation system BOSCH Integrus and the BOSCH DCN NG conference system were installed in 13 rooms of the International Exhibition Center in Kiev, including the Plenary Hall for 1100 seats, the Halls of the Preparatory Committee and the Forum for Cooperation for 400 seats, the halls of the Parliamentary Assembly and the European Union for 154 seats, the press working area for 250 seats, the Concourse Press Conference for 220 seats,  the hall of the European Union for 160 seats, as well as  informal meeting rooms and briefings for 170 seats.
  Welcoming participants from 57 participating countries, 11 partner countries for cooperation and international organizations, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov emphasized the unique comprehensive nature of this meeting in particular and the Organization as a whole.
OSCE Chairman Leonid Kozhara, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, described the work of the OSCE in the year of the Ukrainian presidency.
  OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier confirmed the OSCE's intention to encourage participating governments, including Ukraine, to uphold their commitments within the OSCE, including the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms and respect for the rule of law.
Concluding the press conference, the Chairman of the OSCE, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Leonid Kozhara, highly appreciated the constructive atmosphere of the 20th OSCE Ministerial Meeting in Kiev on December 5-6, 2013.
Online video with large speakers' plans in the Plenary Hall for television broadcast and for the monitors of the image repetition in the center of the room was provided using four BOSCH HD Conference DOME robots.
Interpreters in the halls provided simultaneous interpretation to the six official languages of the OSCE interpretation (English, French, German, Russian, Spanish, Italian), as well as into the Ukrainian language.
In the 36 cabins for interpreters 72 IDesk interpreters were installed.
In the halls, 60 BOSCH radiators operated on telescopic stands.
In total, participants in the meetings used 2854 pieces of 32-channel BOSCH Integrus receivers with double and single BOSCH headphones and 13 sets of 32-channel control equipment.
To transfer audio speakers and interpretation channels to the working area of the press from the Plenary Hall and from the Hall of the final press conference, digital audio expanders BOSCH and audio transmission sets via optical cable were used.
At the round tables and tables of the presidium stood 460 pics. of BOSCH conference system microphones.
  Such a large number of simultaneous equipment for such a large-scale event as the OSCE Ministerial Meeting was needed for the first time in the history of independent Ukraine.
The only company that was able to provide and install such a quantity of equipment BOSCH, was the company LEATER PLUS LTD as a member of Congress Rental Network.
Ukrainian specialists in sound, as well as foreign TV and radio journalists highly appreciated the professional quality of multichannel interpretation signal in the headphones and at press boxes in TV and radio booths.
  The OSCE Ministerial Meeting is held at the end of each year in the Presidency.
